Meet Our Founder, Edward Blackwell
Edward Blackwell is a U.S. Air Force veteran who honorably served for ten years as a medic. After returning home, he dedicated nearly two decades to youth development throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth community.
Throughout his career, Edward has impacted thousands of young people through mentoring, sports, career readiness, leadership development, and educational experiences. Through his leadership and teaching, he has helped young people develop the skills, confidence, and character needed to pursue successful careers, become productive citizens, and grow into future leaders.
Edward has also built meaningful partnerships with nonprofits, community organizations, and global companies to expand resources and create new pathways for youth.
Edward founded Be Well Kids Foundation to bring a “boots on the ground” approach directly into communities where support is needed most. Today, he leads the organization with a focus on building confidence, developing future leaders, strengthening communities, and creating life-changing opportunities for youth.
